1. I am thankful that I shaved enough time off my drive to get to sales meeting on time.
2. I am thankful that I had enough time to clean up the house between sales meeting and work.
3. I am thankful that I had enough internet marketing things to do today to keep me busy all day. I really wouldn't have been very good on the phone with customers today, so it was nice to still stay busy and feel like I accomplished something without making too many phone calls.
4. I am thankful that I didn't make too many phone calls and STILL sold a car today.
5. I am thankful for the shift in attitude I've had this month.
6. I am thankful for the shift in confidence I've had this month.
7. I am thankful that I didn't have to walk home like Meisha did. I felt really bad.
8. I am thankful that I didn't have to pay anything to watch The Ant Bully. It was dumb. I know it was a kid's movie, but I like a lot of kid's movies. But not this one.
9. I am thankful for Red Bull. It's tasty. Even right before bed. I still don't quite understand how I can fall asleep right after a big can sometimes.
10. I am thankful for Meisha. Not much more complicated than that today. I'm just REALLY REALLY thankful for Meisha. I am a very lucky person.

Day Seven
1. I am thankful that it wasn't really (too)awkward waking up and showering in a strange house this morning.
2. I am thankful they had coffee ready for us when we woke up. No creamer and it was still delicious, go figure.
3. I am thankful we got a tour of the massive house we stayed in. They did a lot of things to their house that I hope to have in my own someday. He explained that the reason they did all those things is so they can share them with others and give them a fun and comfortable place to stay when they come to visit. This is EXACTLY the philosophy Meisha and I had in our house in American Fork and will have in our new house when we get it. It inspired me to keep on persisting with the path I'm on.
4. I am thankful that Mike (my customer) took us out to Pufferbelly Station for breakfast this morning. It was a cool little local hang-out breakfast place. Really good food. mmmmmm.
5. I am thankful that I tip more than 10%. It really disappointed me to see that someone with so much money couldn't share more of it with those who waited on him.
6. I am thankful we decided to take a detour into Moab on the way home. It was awesome and we got some really cool pictures.
7. I am thankful that I was able to hike all the way to Delicate Arch in one piece. It wasn't a very long hike (1.5 miles or so) but was STRAIGHT up hill. It was a lot harder hike than I remembered when I was 10 years younger.
8. I am thankful that Ricardo was a good traveling companion. We really had a lot of fun and are both cool with acting like goofy bastards.
9. I am thankful that I'll get to see Meisha when she gets off work in an hour. I REALLY missed her, even if it was just for a day.
10. I am thankful that I don't have to sleep in the pink room again tonight.

Day Six
1. I am thankful that I sold another car today.
2. I am thankful my customers were very cool and felt comfortable enough around me to use the word "fuck" several times. :D
3. I am thankful for the story they told me after they bought the car- Their parent's car just lost the transmission. They gave their parents the car that they were going to trade to us. Everybody told them their was "No fucking way" they would qualify for a car. We were able to help them. They were ecstatic. Their parents have a car. And everything worked out. We didn't make much profit on the deal, but hearing the story made it all worth it.
4. I am thankful that we left the dealership by 7 so we could get to Colorado by a "decent" time.
5. I am thankful I had enough time this morning to cash checks, clean the house, and leave little notes for Meisha.
6. I am thankful that Meisha had a really good attitude about me going to Colorado. I really didn't want to go, but the way she handled it helped.
7. I am thankful the drive only took 5 hours, so we got to our customer's house around 12:45AM, much better than I expected.
8. I am thankful we didn't die when we hit a long patch of snow/ice and slid for several hundred feet.
9. I am thankful my lovely pink bed is comfortable.
10. I am thankful for my iPhone. I was able to blog on it at 2 in the morning in the pink room. Too much Red Bull, couldn't sleep, but that helped.

Day Four
1. I am thankful for being able to sleep in till 8:30. It felt fantastic!
2. I am thankful I woke up at 8:30, even though I accidentally shut off my alarm.
3. I am thankful for Tif. She spent her morning taking our pictures. It was a lot of fun and I'm really excited to see them.
4. I am thankful for Salted Carmel Hot Chocolate from Starbucks. It was delicious, kind of tasted like a doughnut, and was the first non-coffee drink I've ever ordered from Starbucks - Thanks for the recommendation, Tif.
5. I am thankful for Sundays, even when they're really lazy.
6. I am thankful Meisha was OK with going to see a movie.
7. I am thankful that I can say I didn't have anything to do with the making of The Day the Earth Stood Still. It sucked. I feel sorry for all those involved in the making of said movie.
8. I am thankful for the DVD Screener of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, the movie was almost 3 hours long and was a lot nicer to watch from my couch.
9. I am thankful that we spent almost 5 hours watching movies. I really didn't want to do anything anyway. That's what lazy Sundays are for. =)
10. I am thankful for free Netflix trials. We haven't had it for a while, and it will be nice to have a little more variety in our internet movie viewing. I swear I've seen almost every movie on Hulu (good and bad).

Day Three
1. I am thankful for free cappuccinos.
2. I am thankful for free lunch on Saturdays.
3. I am thankful for the jacket Meisha got me for Christmas. It keeps me warm enough, but not too hot. -This whole St. George winter thing still weirds me out.
4. I am thankful that Meisha was able to pay the phone bill. Getting your cell phone shut off really sucks. I'm glad mine is back on.
5. I am thankful for Wi-Fi. The entire world should have it. :)
6. I am thankful for nice customers. They really make my job worth doing some days.
7. I am thankful I was able to sell a car. I sold it late in the day after I thought I really wasn't going to sell one.
8. I am thankful I have a gel pen. They write so much nicer than a ball point and are a lot funner to doodle with.
9. I am thankful Tif wants to take our pictures tomorrow.
10. I am thankful for you, whoever you are, if you're reading this. It means you care about me. Thank you.

Day Two
Today feels like the first official day of the year. Yesterday was a bit of a blur. Late wake up, breakfast, movie, birthday cheesecake, drive. Today, the year becomes real. And I am still thankful.
1. I am thankful I didn't have to work until 11. Working early after the drive last night would have sucked.
2. I am thankful for the SlimFast we got from Meisha's parents. I don't think I would have survived the first few hours of the day without it.
3. I am thankful Ricardo bought me lunch from Del Taco.
4. I am thankful I can close the door to my office.
5. I am thankful that I don't smell like the people in the waiting room.
6. I am thankful that the news wasn't on TV once today. I hate the news.
7. I am thankful for the talk Meisha and I had about 2008. It made me feel a lot better realizing that we've basically improved in every aspect of life other than financial (and only on paper, we learned a lot financially in 2008).
8. I am thankful for the homemade chicken noodle soup we are going to have for dinner. I'm excited. -Not as much as Meisha, but still excited.
9. I am thankful that tomorrow is already Saturday. This has been a very strange week.
10. I am thankful for a new year. Last year was hard and I'm glad it's over. I have high hopes that this one will be better.
